Family Walk by the River

Yesterday we took a walk by the river. Well, we didn't actually do much walking. Mostly the girls climbed trees and through rocks and sticks into the river. It was wonderfull. A warm evening before a rain storm.

Sisterly Love - I wish I could tell you it was all love all the time but MAN do they fight! I'm trying to teach them to solve there own arguments. Which is hard to do when the main reason they fight is to bug each other.

Kate gave the talk in primary today. It was on obeying your parents. PERFECT! I took pictures of Kate doing some of the things she is expected to do at our house. (put shoes away, clean up toys, sit nicely on the couch, come when called, take dishes to the sink, etc.). Then she could show the pictures and remember what to say for each one. She did such a good job. She wasn't nervous at all and spoke so clearly.

Macy had the scripture and prayer. The scripture was Exodus 20:12, "Honour thy father and mother and thy days may be long in the land....". She is so darn cute. So hard to understand. This might have been the one time when she actually used a quite voice. (Macy never talks quite in sacrament meeting or anyother time.) So, nobody probably new what she was saying but she was so adorable so who cares.
